Meet The Doctors

Scott W. Wallace, DDS

Founder of the practice, Dr. Wallace received his B.S. degree from Albright College in 1981 before entering West Virginia University School of Dentistry. After graduating in 1985 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dr. Wallace remained in West Virginia for three years, working as a Pediatric Clinical Supervisor for the Marion County Health Department.  He also served on the faculty of West Virginia University Dental School as a part-time clinical instructor.

In 1988 Dr Wallace and his wife Ellen moved back to their home state of PA and settled in Carlisle, PA where he was an associate dentist in two different practices.  While practicing general dentistry, Dr. Wallace furthered his studies in orthodontics, a dental specialty that he truly loves.

In 1993 Dr Wallace heard of a dental  practice for sale in Morgantown, PA. Dr. Wallace purchased  Dr.  Hoober’s dental practice and the Wallace family moved to Elverson PA.   Within five years of purchasing the practice, Dr. Wallace moved the practice to our present location at 4101 W Main Street.

Just as his practice was growing, so too was his family.  Dr. Wallace and his wife Ellen are the proud parents of four children; Evan, Emily, Kayla, and Julie Wallace. They are often seen around the office helping out, and are always willing to do an odd job here and there when needed.

Dr.  Wallace’s favorite past time is bike riding, and often he can be seen pedaling around the area when he is not working.  He is active in the community and has served as the Twin Valley School District dentist for over 15 years.  He volunteers in many community events and is always willing to lend a helping hand to better our community and future.  He is a member of the PA Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

James Wolitarsky, Jr., DDS

Dr. Wolitarsky grew up in Wayne, PA and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College in 1996.  Following a year as a research associate for Thomas Jefferson Hospital’s pain clinic, Dr. Wolitarsky went on to graduate from The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2001.  He then completed a Post-Doctoral Residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the university in 2002.

Before graduating in the top of his dental class, Dr, Wolitarsky held numerous positions at the University, including, class president, and president of the O.U. chapter of the American Student Dental Association.  During his senior year, Dr. Wolitarsky also served as a clinical instructor in the University’s pediatric dental department.

Dr. Wolitarsky received advanced training in complex restorative dentistry, implant dentistry, endodontics, and oral surgery; and served as a supervisor for a student run free dental clinic in Oklahoma City.

Before joining our practice in 2007 and partnering with Dr. Wallace in 2009, Dr. Wolitarsky worked as an associate dentist in Darien, Connecticut, followed by five years working in the Philadelphia suburbs.  Dr. Wolitarsky also served as the recording secretary of the Chester County and Delaware County Dental Association in 2005 and 2006.  Dr. Wolitarsky is a member of the ADA, the International Congress of Implantologists, the Philadelphia Academy of Stomatology and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr. Wolitarsky currently resides in his home town of Wayne with his wife, Kim and their two children, William and Brooke.  When Dr. Wolitarsky is not in the office, he enjoys a multitude of activities, including hiking, fishing, skiing, golf, scuba diving and skeet shooting.

Elizabeth Dymond, DMD

Dr. Dymond grew up in Elverson, PA and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from West Chester University in 2006.  After receiving her degree, Dr. Dymond began her career in dentistry as an assistant in our practice in early 2007.  She honed her skills by becoming an EFDA (expanded functions dental assistant) and then, with the support and encouragement of everyone at Wallace & Wolitarsky Dental, attended Temple's Kornberg School of Dentistry.  Dr. Dymond enjoyed working in community outreach clinics during her time at Temple and finds educating her patients about oral health especially rewarding.

Dr. Dymond received her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2016 and was then given the opportunity to re-join the practice in a new role.  She has loved reacquainting herself with patients and forming new relationships within the office and community.

Dr. Dymond currently lives in Elverson with her two dogs, Franklin and Cheddar.  She enjoys hiking, running and spending time with her family and her dogs.
